Our impact in numbers
How much we have lent, which parts of the social sector it reached, and what borrowers say changed as a result.
Driven by social impact
Charity Bank Australia measures itself on what its lending changes, not on what it earns. Deposits from individuals and organisations are lent to charities, community housing providers, schools, shelters and social enterprises working on the problems their communities actually have.
The figures below cover every loan made since our first one. They are national totals: we publish what we have lent and how it divides between sectors, and we do not break the same money down again by state or territory.
Lending across the social sector
Since our first loan we have made over 1,480 loans worth over A$653 million. These eight sectors account for all of it — open a card to see what each one has received.

Savings that add up to something
Every figure on this page started as a deposit. Money placed with Charity Bank Australia funds the social sector and nothing else.
